Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield shuts to visitors for 48 hours

I was taking my son to Good Hope on Thursday when I was surprised to be told we could not go through parts of the hospital after a a serious norovirus outbreak.
Anyone wanting to visit maternity or paediatrics should call ahead.
Visitors were also banned from three Midland hospitals – City Hospital, in Winson Green, Sandwell Hospital and Wolverhampton’s New Cross – last month in a bid to get the situation under control.
The Health Protection Agency also put out a warning for anyone suffering with the symptoms to avoid going to school, work and hospitals.
